Rosa Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy different colors of thread, hammock handles, and thimbles, among other things she needs to weave hammocks.

Rosa Maria's story

Rosa lives with her family, made up of her husband and two children, a young woman and a boy who are 22 and 9 years old respectively. They both depend on her economically. Rosa comments that she has no family living abroad.

Her parents work making hammocks, which is how Rosa learned to make hammocks at a very young age. Over time she decided to start her own business making and selling hammocks. She works every day of the week, full time, from her house. One of her daughters helps her.

She will invest the loan in the purchase of different colors of thread, hammock handles, and thimbles, among other things she needs to weave hammocks. This investment will help her have the raw materials necessary to continue working and fill her customers' orders. This will allow her to generate greater sales so that her economic earnings will increase. Her goal is to improve the quality of life of her family, and to continue working in her business.
