Marirangwe Orange Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock 100 birds and purchase feed and vaccines, and to restock cotton muffs and fertilizers for her mushroom business.

Marirangwe Orange Group's story

In order to have a great impact in life, one should not consider what life gives her but rather what she gives to life. Lizzie, a 65 year old woman, believes that in order to have a successful company or project one must solve a social problem. Having identified that relish is a scarce resource in her area of Marirangwe, she decided to start her project of supplying mushroom and chickens in her community. She started small, but with the escalating demand that she faces she is now supplying medium-sized supermarkets.

Marirangwe are now on their second loan. Lizzie used her share to restock 100 birds as well as purchasing feed and vaccines. She is also planning to restock cotton muffs and fertilizers as well as seeds for her mushroom business.

All her projects are year round, hence Lizzie hopes to increase her overall profits.
