A loan helped Purchase additional inventory for her store.

Angelica's story

Angélica is 46 years old, married, and the mother of 6 children. For 11 years, she has worked in the grocery store located in her home. Her business is very busy, frequented mostly by neighbors since it is located in the upper part of town. Angélica loves her job, which explains why she can be found in her store early in the morning cheerfully sweeping and organizing shelves. She likes everything to be clean and attractive. The sign in front of her store says “Never Closed”. Therefore, she leaves her husband in charge of securing merchandise by providing him a list of the products she needs. He brings back the supplies in his car in order to save on shipping costs. Doña Angélica never closes her shop to avoid the risk of losing sales.

This is her first loan with MFP. She is committed to making her payments on the established due dates. In addition, Angélica was recently sworn in as president of her Communal Bank. The money she requested will be used to purchase more food products for her business.
