Tapuhola's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her business and also to hire labour to help her.

Tapuhola's story

Tapuhola is 48 years old and married with six children, three of whom are currently attending school. Her business is weaving and she had a loan from SPBD and used it to buy pandanus and also to hire some labour to help her.

She weaves different types of mats and ta'ovala. Tapuhola joined a group of women who are weaving together for fast productivity from the business. She sells them out to earn income to help her family for living and also to help pay back her loan. She says she faced challenges with lack of money for her business and also she needs more customers to buy her products.

Tapuhola is working hard in her business because this is the only way that brings money to her family and helps them to survive. She has a vision of being able to get some more income from her weaving business to educate her children.
