Nyasha Dziwande Group's story

Betty spends her time entertaining every customer who comes to her flea market,a job that she has fallen in love with since she started in 2010. Betty has a flea market in Marondera where she sells men’s wear, children’s wear and ladie’s wear. She has been in this business for over eight years and she is now able to forecast the profitability trends. Betty also sells second hand clothes. She usually restocks clothes from South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique.

Betty is 41 years old and is a mother of three. Two of her children go to school. Her husband works in Mozambique. As Nyasha Dziwande group, Betty and her three fellow members have taken a loan from Thrive Microfinance for the second time. The group was able to pay their first loan very well. Betty used her share of this loan to restock clothes from South Africa and Mozambique.
