Love Group's story

Residing in Unit M, Chitungwiza is Olivia, a 40-year-old lady who grew up in an entrepreneurial family under the mentorship of her mother who was into craftwork. She is in the kitchenware business and has been doing this business for more than five years now. Olivia sells plastic dishes, cups and buckets in Chitungwiza. She is a single mother of one child who stays with her parent.

Olivia contributes all to her family as she has the responsibility of taking care both her child and her mother who is in her late sixties. Apart from metal ware business, Olivia also runs a poultry business. She restocks batches of 100 birds of broilers at three week intervals. However, she was only left with five broilers from a batch of 100. She secured a ready market in Mbare where she supplies the whole batch to a butchery.

Olivia is a member of the Love group. The group has three members and is based in Chitungwiza. She got a fourth loan to buy more cups, plastic dishes and metal products. She is planning to go and to sell in rural farms.
