Leah's story

Running a business is not easy, especially when one doesn't have enough capital. That is why Leah is very thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy grocery items that she displayed in her store, and more customers were served. She also earned income that she used in paying household obligations and in saving for the future. Aside from her variety store, she also has sells herbal products for added income.

To have additional capital, she would like to acquire a loan that will be used in buying more charcoal, toiletries, rice, soda, chips, canned goods and other grocery items. She hopes that her business will continue to grow bigger and dreams that her family will have better living conditions.

Leah is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with her fellowship partners to share her life’s testimony and business experience with her fellowship members. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationships among partners, and pay micro finance loans.
