A loan helped to pay for her mother's eye surgery.

Martha Elia's story

Martha is 45 years old and separated from her husband some time ago. She was left to care for her two daughters, one of whom is now marrried. Her other daughter is single and is studying Information Technology while living at home. Martha lives in the city of Monterrey. In order to support her family, Martha works as a seamstress at a pillow factory.

Her mother has vision problems as a result of a condition that was detected, which hampers her in her daily activites. At the moment, Martha does not have sufficient resources to pay for the operation her mother needs, so she is requesting a loan. She hopes the surgery will restore her mother's vision so that she can have a better quality of life.
