Hatushindwi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more items she needs for her business, such as food items and more chairs for her customers.

Hatushindwi Group's story

Ratifa is 22 years old. She is the single mother of one school-going child. She is a food vendor and sells local foods such as rice, spaghetti and cooked bananas. She has been in this business for four good years. She normally opens her business at 9:30 AM and closes at 8:00 PM. The business earns a profit.

This will be Ratifa's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to purchase plastic chairs for her customers, and earned profit that she used to purchase missing items and support her child's education. She managed to pay back the loan successfully and is applying for this loan to buy more items she needs in her business, such as food and more chairs for her customers. Her dream is to own a business space so she does not need to rent a place.

Ratifa will share this loan with the fellow members of the "Hatushindwi group".
