Chepngeno’s main source of income comes from the sale of milk, maize, and some seasonal crop varieties from her local farm. Not many women find it easy to live in Siongiroi, but as an ambitious woman, Chepngeno has made great progress. She is an enterprising farmer, and she believes she has the capacity to find additional means of sustaining her loving family.

She has evaluated most investment opportunities in her area and realized there is a shortage of poultry products. Therefore, she has decided to look for funds to start a poultry project, which she believes will make her great profits. However, she does not have enough funds to construct the hatcheries, buy birds, and purchase chicken feed. She expects many unforeseen challenges and expenses, and she is very ready to face them. She has requested that kind Kiva lenders help her start the new venture. She hopes the lenders will consider her request and thanks them in advance.
