Randa's story

Randa is the 57-year-old widowed mother of three. In 2003, she established her own shop where she sells Kashta, a clotted cream prepared with rose water and orange blossom water. Randa is well known in her region and has many loyal customers. She has undergone many challenges to meet the basic needs of her children, and has been diligent in her work and always done her best since she suddenly became the only provider for her three children.

Randa is applying for a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua to buy the ingredients she needs to make more delicious Kashta. Her goal is to improve her living standards.
