'isapela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some more pandanus for her business of weaving.

'isapela's story

'isapela is 65 years old and a widow with one child and two grandchildren.

She's currently running her business of weaving.She doesn't hire people but people help each other in the business for a speedy productivity. 'Isapela used to sell out her business at the market to earn income for her family.

However, last February, Tonga was struck by a very strong cyclone named Gita and this affected the lives of most of Tongan people.

'Isapela's raw material's pandanus plantation were destroyed by the cyclone and it also affected her house.

She faces challenges because the destruction of her pandanus plantation by the cyclone is causing problems to her that she can't be able to meet the demands of her customers.

She applied for a rehabilitation loan to help her overcome her challenges to continue on running her business.

She have a vision to build a new house for her family and to also to restore her business to it's normal state as it was before the cyclone.
