Tahiana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 50 kilos of flour and 100 kilos of urea fertilizer for resale.

Tahiana's story

Tahiana is thirty-five years old and has been the sole provider for her three children since the break-up of her marriage. She lives on the outskirts of town. She has a stable income, generated for thirteen years, by selling products from her home. She is well-known and has many loyal customers.

To support her business, Tahiana works with the loan system of the field partner, Vahatra. This has helped her to develop her sales and she can now buy new stocks regularly. She varies the products she sells according to the demands of her customers. She sells basic foodstuffs but also phytosanitary products. The profits from her previous loan allowed her to buy a bicycle. This loan will be used to buy 50 kilos of flour and 100 kilos of urea fertilizer. Tahiana hopes she can count on the support of the Kiva lenders to build up a good income for her family.
