Anne's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy another quality-breed dairy cow to satisfy the overwhelming demand for milk in her village and use the profits to support her children's future.
Special people! Anne is a hardworking mum who lives in a small hut made from grass and mud. Her house has neither electricity nor clean water, but she promises herself to light her house through profits from this loan. She is a woman who has always dreamed of improving her life and educating her children. She is a smallholder farmer who hails from the Eldoret area. She has been farming for more than 12 years, and through the profits that she makes she is able to provide for the basic needs of her family. On her farm, she practices mixed farming, and she sells milk from her cows, eggs and maize as her sources of income. In farming, she loves dairy farming the most, while her greatest challenge would be a lack of enough feed for her livestock. Anne chose Juhudi Kilimo after realizing that it finances farmers to help them obtain important assets on their farms. She is borrowing to buy another dairy cow that is a quality breed. During the Juhudi Kilimo training that she received from the loan officer, she learned how to develop a savings culture. This loan will be of benefit to her children in that they will have more milk for consumption and sale, and their living standards will improve. Be inspired and lend to this zealous woman!
