Eunice's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase high-quality farm inputs (hybrid seeds and fertilizers) to increase productivity so she can use the profits to pay tuition fees for her children returning to school.

Eunice's story

Eunice lives in a poor neighbourhood in Kenya where problems and life challenges gather in her house every morning before spreading to other parts of the continent. Although she has problems she has a beautiful smile that is contagious. She never had the opportunity to go to school because her parents were poor. Being the only breadwinner, she ventured into farming to meet the basic needs of her family. Her remote area is suitable for farming, and this explains why most of the farmers in this region have engaged in mixed farming.

Eunice sells milk at the local market and uses the profits to provide for her family's basic needs. Earning an income by selling her harvest is the part of farming she enjoys most. However, obtaining available labor is a major challenge for her.

Before joining Juhudi Kilimo, Eunice could not access loans from banks because she is a woman and a small-holder farmer. After she joined Juhudi Kilimo, she learned about loan management and agribusiness. Eunice also became familiar with Kiva.

She is seeking a loan to purchase high-quality farm inputs to increase her productivity. This will boost her income so that she can pay school fees for her children.

Eunice awaits your kindness. Eunice expresses her thanks in advance for taking your precious time to read her profile and hopes to obtain your help and support.
