Isatu Mustapha's story

Meet 32-year-old Isatu from Waterloo branch. She is married with two children between the ages of 9 and 11 years old, both are currently attending school. Isatu runs retail shop business and sells milk, cocoa, butter, mayonnaise, sugar, biscuits, sweets, drinks, water, etc. to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past eight years now and work 12 hours per day and 7 days a week. Her main challenge is slow sales during rainy season.

Isatu requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more milk, cocoa, butter, mayonnaise, sugar, biscuits, sweets, drinks, water, etc. to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her family greatly. In the future, she would like to expand into another shop. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva community for their support.
