Musarat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy lower-priced clothes for her business.

Musarat's story

Musarat is a 53-year-old married woman and mother of seven children. She is living happily with her family in the area of Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Musarat owns a clothing business at home; she sells fancy and high quality clothes. Some customers do not purchase after asking for the prices. Musarat does not compromise on quality or prices and does not sell below her purchasing power, but she also doesn't like to refuse her respected customers. To win their confidence and to gain sales, she wants to start selling lower-priced clothing as well. This would enable local customers who do not have as much money to buy clothes more easily.

Musarat invests her savings and profit in her current business, but she does not have enough to start selling lower-priced clothing.

For this purpose she wants financial help from Kiva. She contacted field partner BRAC Pakistan, who works with Kiva and its borrowers.

Musarat is very delighted and thankful to Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
