Fatou's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep for fattening and food products for resale.

Fatou's Group's story

This group was started in April 2018 and is made up of ten women who live in the same village. They are neighbours and friends, and get along well. Their main business is animal rearing and also trade.
Fatou, 38, is the representative - standing to the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of four children including one girl - the youngest is one month old. Fatou has a business fattening sheep; at the same time she has a small activity selling pastries and coffee in front of her home. She has more than ten year's experience.
With this loan, she plans to buy two bags of hay, two sacks of animal feed and two sheep which she will fatten and resell after two months.
The resulting profits will serve as savings and to cover her needs and those of her children.
