Fridah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy another quality breed of pig so she can satisfy the demand for pork in her area.

Fridah's story

Fridah is an ever-smiling woman from Chuka, in the Mt Kenya region of Kenya. She decided it was time to wake up from her slumber and do something to empower herself as a young smallholder farmer and mother.

Fridah is now succeeding in her farming business — she has cows, pigs, different varieties of crops, and poultry. Taking care of her pigs and feeding them is the most enjoyable part about farming.

She is very thankful that pig farming has been able to sustain farmers in her village. Profits from selling pigs and pig products have enabled her to take care of her family, and she wishes to have more pigs.

Fridah is seeking a loan to buy a good breed of pig. She has already identified the breed of pig that she will buy. The pig will produce more pork, be resistant to diseases, and take less time to mature. This pig will certainly boost her income. Please, be inspired and support this humble woman!
