A loan helped to buy more milk animals to increase her income.

Bushra's story

Bushra is 50 years old. She runs a livestock business with her husband, at subsistence level. She lives in a small village near Gujrat, Pakistan. Her village is surrounded by lush green fields, and is an ideal place for agriculture-related businesses.

Bushra takes care of animals (baby goats and calves) and sells milk, as well as goats for their meat. This additional income helps her to manage the education expenses of her children.
Bushra now wants to buy more animals to increase her earnings, but lacks money to do so. Therefore, she requested a loan to purchase more animals.
This will help her increase the profit margin and earn a better income.

Bushra is thankful to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.
