Sherlita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase additional supplies such as canned goods and drinks for Sherlita to sell.

Sherlita's story

Sherlita is 49 years old and a native of Sierra Bullones, Philippines. She is married and has two children, one of whom is still her dependent. Her husband works as a chainsaw operator.

Sherlita runs a sari-sari, or small variety store, and sells basic commodities such as eggs, cooking oil, biscuits, noodles, sugar, beverages and toiletries. Her plan is to continue to improve her livelihood and ensure it’s sustainable. But her main concern is a shortage of funds.

That is why Sherlita has requested a 20,000 PHP loan through Kiva's field partner CEVI to purchase additional supplies such as canned goods and drinks. She is grateful for this kind of opportunity and asks your support to help her carry out her plan.
