Faluku's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat in large quantities for sale.

Faluku's story

Faluku, aged 43, is a married man, with four children who attend school. He owns a butcher shop in the outskirts of Kampala. This business has been his main source of income for six years. He started this business with the savings he had accumulated from doing casual jobs, because he thought that a stable source of income would secure his children's future. His customers are mainly restaurants.

With the income he gets from this business, he has managed to keep his children in school as well as providing them with all their needs. As a visionary man, Faluku wants to increase the quantity of meat he sells, because on many occasions, customers come when the meat is finished.

He has therefore applied for a loan of 2,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE. He plans to use it to buy meat in large quantities, so that he meets all his customers' needs. Faluku is confident that his sales will improve, and so will his income, which will make him financially able to provide for his big family.

Faluku sends his sincere gratitude to the funders for the financial support, which will boost his business and transform his family's livelihood.
