Tu'uta's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to renovate her house due to the cyclone damages.

Tu'uta's story

Tu'uta is 45 years old and is living together in her own home with her five children and her husband, who is laid in bed after a stroke. Tu'uta is the only one responsible in looking for ways for her family to survive.

Tu'uta runs a fishing business and sells her catch to bring in income for the family. She's sells the seafood from the road side of her village and sometimes she takes it to the market. She earns weekly from her business and helps her family with the living expenses as well as helping pay back her loan.

Last February Tonga was struck by a strong cyclone named Gita and it affected most of Tongan's people lives. Tu'uta's roof was destroyed and also one side of the wall of her house. Luckily she used her loan to recover the house for their safety. She is still working hard in her business to help her family and also to achieve her vision to expand their house to be big enough to accommodate them.
