Emmanuella's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a wider variety of cloth to sell.

Emmanuella's story

Emmanuella is a 26-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her younger brother in the Lambussie District of Ghana. She runs her own cloth business in which she sells a variety of African prints (GTPs, high targets, and wax).

Emmanuella is requesting a Kiva loan in order to purchase a wider variety of cloth to satisfy her customers' tastes. She plans to use her profits to expand her business. Emmanuella will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering two and a half hours per week as a Camfed Peer Educator. Her duties include leading life skills sessions with students from local schools on topics such as rights and choices, choosing a career path, and active citizenship.
