Mira's story
Mira is 46 years old and married with three sons and two daughters. Mira has a secondary education and is a hardworking and conscientious woman. She has been earning a primary income for her family with farming and animal husbandry since 2008. Thanks to her diligent work and the help of her spouse, she currently has two cows, 21 sheep and a horse on her farm, as well as a farmland allotment of 0.02 hectares where she grows cherries. In order to further grow her business, Mira has applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank to purchase seedlings to grow organic apples, apricots, and cherries. The income from this loan will help Mira to expand her farm, give her children a good education and, in the future, build a large house.
