Kousar's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy LPG cylinders for her husband's mini fuel station so he can cope with the demand.

Kousar's story

Kousar is a 46-year-old married woman living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband. He is running a small gas station and offers LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) to the rickshaw drivers.

In his area, a lot of people drive auto rickshaws and there is a lot of demand for fuel, so he decided to open a gas station so he can earn the maximum profit. This strategy became the cause of the establishment of the gas station in no time. He started this business with very low capital and does not have sufficient cash in hand to buy more LPG cylinders to fulfill the demand.

Because of the rapid increase in the demand for LPG, her husband wants to buy more gas cylinders so that he can easily cope with the demand.

Kousar wants her husband to establish his business in a good manner so that she can make some savings to ensure and secure the future of her children.

Kousar is very pleased with this cooperation; she is very thankful to Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
