Jamiluddin's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase 200 water filters to sell to his neighbors, providing them with safe drinking water.

Jamiluddin's story

Mr. Jamil runs a community health center in Ruteng on Flores Island in Eastern Indonesia. This is one of the least developed areas in far eastern Indonesia. Getting drinking water is hard over there. Well water is contaminated with bacteria and tap water is not available.

He heard of a new option for disinfecting water from Plan International that ran a water and sanitation campaign in his area. Nazava Water Filters filter well, rain, and city water so it becomes safe to drink without boiling, without
using fuel or electricity.

Mr. Jamil thus became the sales representative of Nazava in his area. Sales in his area are good, but Jamil has difficulties reaching out to the small villages in his district because of bad infrastructure.

This is the fourth time Mr Jamil has applied for a loan. He has a good record repaying his loans.This loan will allow Mr. Jamil to buy 200 filters and sell them on consignment to his community, making safe drinking water available to 1,000 people.
