Jose Dolores

Matagalpa, Matagalpa Department, Nicaragua / Agriculture

Jose Dolores's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase supplies and fertilizer to provide maintenance to his 5.6 hectares of coffee.

Jose Dolores's story

José is a farmer with good principles and a great vision. When he was young, his parents taught him to work the land and to love it. His farm is 5.6 hectares, all planted with coffee trees. With the counseling of the PAC technical team, he implements the criteria for certification from FLO, UTZ and C.A.F.E. PRACTICES.

He lives in a remote community of Jinotega in north central Nicaragua, where he lives with his wife and children.

Over nineteen years ago, José got his own farm, where he cultivates coffee, fruit, and timber trees and vegetables. He is sure that he can improve his quality of life investing in adequate fertilization of his coffee trees.

For this producer, his greatest dream is that his children have better opportunities. For this, day to day he works hard to help them build their future.
