Pearl's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy stocks of flour, and other baking ingredients for her baking activities.

Pearl's story

For the past twenty years, Pearl has been baking bread, a trade she learned from her mother. This has been the main source of income for her family, which has three children that go to school. Together with the family, they live in Ho, the Volta Regional capital of Ghana.

The main challenge Pearl faces in her baking business is the lack of adequate finance to purchase ingredients, mainly flour, in large quantities to meet the economy of scale. She is seeking financial assistance, so she can buy stocks of flour in large quantities for her baking business. The increase in stocks will also help her meet the growing demand of her customers for more bread.

She is saving her profits to acquire her own flour-mixing machine.
