Jacinta Primogenica's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase aguardiente [spirits], fruit, plastic bags and gallon containers.

Jacinta Primogenica's story

The canton of Junín is the largest producer of sugar cane, an important economic field for these people. Products made from raw sugar and the liquor known as Currincho are made in the area in the traditional way.

Jacinta is 56 years old, separated, and has 4 children, all adults and independent. They live in their own house. Jacinta and her family sell aguardiente [spirits] in different presentations, such as quarter-liter bottles and gallons. They prepare it with fruit, chocolate flavoring, strawberries, coconuts, blackberries, pineapple, mint, and coloring. This she does with the help of her child who helps her with the sales in different areas of the province and at home where she has a small retail space. She works everyday from 8:00 to 6:00.

With this new loan, she will purchase liquor, fruit, plastic bags and gallon containers. Her dream is to have an aguardiente processing plant.
