Kalesita's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more pandanus from the market for her business and also to hire some people to help her weaving.

Kalesita's story

Kalesita is 42 years old, the mother of seven children, and married to a farmer husband. Her business that she runs is weaving.

She used her loan to buy some more pandanus (leaves from the pandanus tree) from the market or from some other people that sell pandanus, and also she hired people to help her prepare the pandanus and help her weave the mats and the ta'ovala (a traditional article of clothing).

Kalesita weaves her products and when they're finished, she usually sells out twice a month, which helps her earn her monthly income. She's faced a challenge of a lack of money sometimes when she wants to hire people to help and she can't afford it at that time to help her weave her products fast and to provide her customers' demand.

Kalesita continues on running her business for her vision and also to pay back her loan. She's aiming to earn some more income to help her family and also to educate her children for a good career.
