Sinayi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase tailoring materials to increase his production.

Sinayi's story

Sinayi is 59 years old and married with three children; one attends school. He owns a tailoring store which is located in Kampala. This has been his main source of income for many years. He also owns rental units which bring in supplementary income.

He is the sole bread winner of the family because his wife lost her mental capacity due to a terrible car accident. He also has to take his wife for weekly reviews which is costly. Sinayi says that his income has become insufficient to meet his ever-increasing financial needs.

He has plans of increasing his production with the belief that his income will increase. However, his working capital is insufficient to facilitate the expansion. He has therefore applied for a loan of 4,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy more materials like fabrics, buttons, linings and others to produce more clothes.

He is hopeful that with increased production, his sales will also increase and so will his income. Sinayi appreciates the financial support that will boost his business as well as transforming him financially which will enable him to pay for the best medical services for his wife.
