Shehnaz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to set up a family business of knitting embroidery dresses from home by purchasing embroidery raw material.

Shehnaz's story

Shehnaz is a 40-year-old married woman, mother of five children and lives with her spouse in Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband. He has worked in an embroidery firm for many years and been earning wages.

He has become an expert and wants to set up his own tiny firm for knitting embroidery dresses. He has many contacts in the market and can easily get contracts.

The establishment of any business requires initial capital. His savings are little and he wants to include some more capital as well.

Therefore, Shehnaz has requested a Kiva loan for her family business so her husband can set up a separate tiny embroidery firm by purchasing initial embroidery material.

Shehnaz thanks Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan for this honorable support.
