Jamison's story

My name is Jamison Clark. Since I can remember, I’ve had a burning passion to make a change the world. At the age of five, I learned that there is a climate and energy crisis. Inspired to act, I rushed home and tried to make a windmill out of crude parts. It is that same sense of responsibility to create change that drives me today. In this time of political and social unrest, many people are moved to take action but aren't sure how. The right platform will support activists and our movements, empowering us to create widespread change. Six years ago, I had the vision of building a physical school of activism for people to receive hands-on, Waldorf style education on non-violent communication, urban permaculture, and dissent. With the saturation of technology in our daily lives, online tools are largely more accessible than brick and mortar facilities. It quickly became clear that an app would be the most effective, adaptive, and accessible platform for building social change. Updraft is that platform. In late 2016 I sought out two others in order to develop Updraft into a working application. On April 14th, 2017 we established Goose Design Co.
