Mele Keleni's story

Mele Keleni is a widow, She has five children but she’s been living together with only two of her children ever since her husband passed away.

She’s running two business: making kiekie and a canteen. Mele Keleni normally runs her canteen only three days a week and earns weekly from it. Then she usually makes one kiekie within one week and earns another income weekly.

She believes that having new equipment will improve her business and speed productivity so she used her loan to buy a new stove to use the oven for her baking and also some pandanus as raw materials to used for making kiekie and mulberry.

Her goal for her business in the future is to expand and educate her two children that she’s still staying with. She's looking forward to a successful business that will make her dream become true.
