Jean's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bales of men's, women's and children's secondhand clothing and clothes hangers for her clothing sales business.

Jean's story

Jean is 40 years of age and she is married with four children. She lives with her family in a rural community in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

She runs a cloth marketing business selling secondhand men's, women's and children's wear in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for three years.

Jean is asking for this loan to help her to pay for additional bales of men's, women's and children's secondhand clothing and clothes hangers to increase her stock and maintain her business.

She will use her profits to help her to pay for her children's school fees and meet her family's weekly expenses.

She became a member of SPBD in 2013 to gain access to financial services.
