Bích's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase baby fish to raise and sell in the future.

Bích's story

Ms. Bích is 28 years old, and she is a widow with two children. Her husband died and all the difficulties of life lay on her shoulders. She has operated a food stall/restaurant selling fish. Bích lives in Dong Son district, a rural town in Thanh Hoa province. Her family is a low-income household in the village; moreover, the market need is low in this region.

The main hardship that Bích faces is lack of capital. She is requesting a loan to purchase baby fish to raise and sell in the future.

In 2016, Bích joined Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution to improve her business. Bích has successfully repaid two loans from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution.

With her business profit, Bích hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, to make enough money to provide for her kids and keep sending them to school, and to build a new house.
