Kenneh's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more bags of gari, oil, charcoal and cassava to sell.

Kenneh's story

Greetings from Liberia. This is 40-year-old Kenneh. She is married and blessed with five children, all of whom live at home while attending school. Kenneh went to school until 8th grade.

She runs a business where she sells bags of gari, oil, charcoal and cassava. She learned this trade from her mother. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. She has been a strong business woman for 15 years now. Kenneh says she has no problems with her sales. She likes her business because sales are fast with lot of profits.

To excel in business, Kenneh applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. With this loan, she will purchase more bags of gari, oil, charcoal and cassava to sell. She plans to use the profits she earns to help her husband with daily expenses for the home. In the future, she wants to buy land, build her house and continue her children's education. She wishes to say thanks.
