Saly's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one bag of 50 kg of sugar, one canister of 20 liters of vegetable oil and various condiments.

Saly's Group's story

The banc villageois to which this group of 17 members belongs has been established in December 2010. It is made up of women who are determined to improve their living conditions. They all live in the same town and maintain strong relationships based on solidarity and mutual support. Their main business is retail. Mrs Saly (standing on the far right of the picture raising her hand) is the representative of the group. She is thirty eight years old. She is married and the mother of four children. She works in retail trade. She sources her products from the regional market to resell in her village. She renews her stock every fifteen days. With this loan, she is planning to buy one bag of 50 kg of sugar, one canister of 20 liters of vegetable oil and various condiments that she will resell retail from her home. The earnings will enable her to contribute to supporting her children's needs (clothing, food, health, etc).
