Farar Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase five sacks of rice, three containers of oil, two sacks of sugar, and various goods.

Farar Group's story

This group is part of the banc villageois that was established in December 2009, bringing together women who primarily work in commerce and raise livestock.

Ngone, standing at right in the photo with her hand raised, is the [group's] featured borrower. She is 59 years old, married, and the mother of four children, three of whom are girls. She has been working in commerce for years and has a great deal of experience in this field. She has a shop in her village, which she would like to stock.

Ngone plans to purchase five sacks of rice, three containers of oil, two sacks of sugar, and various goods (tea, bouillon, onion, chili, etc.) that she will then sell at retail price. The profits will allow her to meet her family's needs and to increase her savings with the banc villageois.
