Francis's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay tuition fees for his children who are resuming their studies this month.

Francis's story

Francis (pictured in his simple house) is a hardworking small-holder farmer from the Matuu area, an abundant maize-producing region in the central province of Kenya. Francis is very passionate, hardworking, and eager to learn and accept new challenges. These qualities have propelled him to become one of the most respected farmers in his village. He sells milk, bananas, poultry, maize and vegetables produced on his farm.

Of all the activities in which he is involved, dairy farming is closest to his heart. He enjoys waking up every morning to go and milk his cows and feed them with fodder that has a high nutrient value. He is so keen and close with his cows that he has named them, which makes Francis very proud and fulfilled.

Francis is seeking an education loan to pay school fees for his children. He believes that the knowledge and skills his children will get from school will help them have a brighter future.
