Sharshekan's story

Sharshekan is 50 years old, married and has three daughters and two sons. Sharshekan has vocational education, and works as an accountant for the local government. As an additional income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation since 1992.

Thanks to Sharshekan's persistent work, and the help of her husband, her farm currently has seven cows, eight sheep and two horses. She also has a plot of land of 1.84 hectares, on which she grows potatoes and alfalfa.

With an aim to further develop her business, and being a returning customer of the bank, Sharshekan turned to "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 70,000 som (KGS). She will purchase seeds to grow organic potatoes. The income from the loan helps Sharshekan develop her farm and improve her family's living conditions.
