A loan helped to buy some mulberry for her business of making tapa cloth.

Helena's story

Helena is 43 years old. She's married and has six children who are all still at school. Helena's highest level of education was only in the high school level. This encouraged her with a big dream to operate a business in order to earn some more income to educate her children to have a brighter future and not follow in her footsteps of struggling to find a life for her family.

She's currently running her business of making tapa cloth. She requested a loan and used it to buy some more mulberry to make tapa cloth for her business, and also to pay for one of her daughter's school fees. She's self-employed, and sometimes she's helped by her husband and her older children. From her hard work, she doesn't face any challenges in her business. She's looking forward to the success of her business and continues running it to make her dreams about the education of her children come true.
