Rosalina's story

This is Rosalina, a modest, talkative, and enterprising 49-year-old married woman who possesses a strong desire to get ahead.

Rosalina lives with her small family in Lautem municipality, where she has a business selling homemade doughnuts, fried bananas, and other Timorese cakes with various colors and tastes. They are very well-known cakes because of their unique taste, and most people usually eat them for breakfast.

Rosalina would like a loan of USD 800 to buy more flour, oil, butter, food colors, and some other ingredients in order to make more cakes to sell and generate income for her family. She hopes to run a bigger business as the result of this investment and wants to thank all the lenders.
