Eric's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy stock of educational materials - exercise books, text books, boxes of pens and pencils, graph books, rulers, erasers, among others - for sale.

Eric's story

Forty-one-year-old Eric lives in Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana. He is married with six children. Four of the children are in school.

Eric operates a stationery shop in his community. He believes in education, but unable to obtain one. He has decided to provide his support through the sale of educational materials. It also helps him to earn income for the family. He has been engaged in this activity for the past 13 years.

With the increasing demand for new books and other stationery items, Eric is seeking financial support to help him stock his shop. He will use the loan to buy stock of exercise books, text books, boxes of pens and pencils, graph books, rulers, erasers, among others.

His goal is to use the profits from the business to educate his children. He is grateful in advance to his Kiva supporters for coming to his aid.
