Marleny Guillermina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a borrower to purchase fish for resale so she can keep helping with her family's finances.

Marleny Guillermina's story

Marleny and her family live in Montecristi Canton, of the famous "Panama" hats.
Thanks to the loans, Marleny and her family are still earning a living. They have a business selling fish. Every morning Marleny goes to the beaches in Manta to buy the fish. She then brings it home to clean. She later goes out in her car, which she has for just this purpose, to sell the fish all around the city and the countryside. She sells in areas that she already has a good clientele who always make purchases from her.
The loans are very important for Marleny and her family. Because of the loans, they are able to continue with their business. And that is why they are requesting this successive loan.
This loan is for the purchase of fish. Marleny's hope is to one day have a large shop.
