Cuarta Joya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase fruit and prepare snacks to sell.

Cuarta Joya Group's story

Carmen Alicia is a 30 year old mother of four. Ten years ago, she started selling snacks, fruit, and tamales on the weekends. This work allowed her to feel secure during times when her husband was unemployed, as it allowed her to provide her children with their daily needs. She is now seeking a loan to purchase fruit in bulk, and to invest in her snack sales, which she conducts from her home three days a week during the afternoons.

The other members of her group also have businesses for which they are seeking loans. These businesses include selling traditional clothing, assorted clothing, daily use products, flowers, fruits, and vegetables, and farming.
