Pashk's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy piglets to raise and sell when grown.

Pashk's story

Pashk is a devoted husband and the father to a newborn son. He lives with his family and his parents in a northern Albanian village in the middle of the mountains. He has been working in construction in his hometown and in Montenegro for several years but now that he has become father he doesn't want to leave home.

Pashk's family have been doing agriculture during his entire life. They try to raise animals like goats and cows that are more resistant to the cold. They have more than 50 chestnuts trees, typical of their area, and sell the chestnuts in Kosovo or Montenegro.

Pashk wants to take a loan from Kiva in order to start raising piglets. He looks forward to using this loan to buy 20 little piglets to raise during spring and summer and afterwards to resell them. He hopes this way he could improve his family’s living conditions.

Pashk is very grateful for the support of Kiva lenders and is sure he will be able to work hard and pay off his loan.
