Tabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more grocery stock and open her own grocery shop.

Tabeth's story

Tabeth is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her parents in the Gokwe North district in Zimbabwe. She is requesting a Kiva loan in order to buy more grocery stock and open her own grocery shop.

Tabeth plans to use her profits to support her family and improve her standard of living. She will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering two and a half hours per week as a Camfed Transition Guide. She will be facilitating lessons at her local secondary school through Camfed’s “My Better World” program where she will help students build their self-esteem and motivate them to stay in school.
