A loan helped to purchase clothes, underwear, and shoes, among other merchandise to sustain her business and her family.

Solidaridad 5 Group's story

Magalie is a 48-year-old lady who emigrated from her motherland Haiti 30 years ago in order to do business and have a better quality of life together with her family in the Dominican Republic. Currently she lives in Bayaguana which lies in the municipality Monte Plata, a region characterized by agriculture, sugar cane cultivation, and formal as well as informal trade. It is a zone which develops tourism and is home of the Los Haitises National Park.

Together with her partner in life Magalie works hard for their family. She has a business for which she sells used clothes, sneakers, and underwear, among other things as a street vendor. She dreams of having an engine to move around more easily and to advance her business. She also dreams of having a big house, currently she lives in a rented place.

This is loan number eight with Esperanza. She will use the loan to stock up her business with new clothes, underwear, and simple shoes, among other things in order to keep her clients and assure an inflow of cash into her household.

The group "Solidaridad 5" (Solidarity 5) thanks you for the loan opportunity to develop and sustain their families.
